To generate hype ahead of the Division 2 launch we created an immersive experience to show what post-apocalyptic life could be like, if events from the game took place in your area. Positioning facebook messenger as the AI users are fed site-specific native AR content to unlock the narrative created especially to promote the game. With clever geo-location integration users can participate in the experience in 160 countries and unlock in-game rewards as they go.

The success of the series of games is based on how the dystopian world where mankind fights for survival feels anchored in reality. What better way to demonstrate this than bringing narrative from the game and it’s characters into the real world.
We created 50 stories representing daily scenes of survival linked to site specific locations, for example the pharmacy, fuel station, church and bank. I.S.A.C, the chatbot from the game has taken over Facebook messenger and is driving you through the experience, encouraging you to participate in as many of the stories as possible to unlock in-game reward.
Engaging narrative, gaming visuals developed exclusively for social AR, multi-faceted creative output working across multiple touch points within Facebook.
