To accompany the launch of their Specially Yours campaign; where champagne lovers are invited to “Say it with Moët & Chandon” by adding a special message to limited-edition gift boxes, the famous champagne brand approached us to create a one of a kind augmented reality experience. Something that would showcase their unique “savoir faire” and “savoir-fête“ by epitomising the spirit of generosity and personalisation of their gift offering in spectacularly interactive fashion.

Users are asked to choose between two types of champagne: Imperial or Rosé as well as an accompanying message. To tailor the experience to users' individual celebrations even further, we created several emoji animations for each message. A love letter, heart, kisses, and flowers for the Rosé Imperial and champagne glasses, stars, and candles for the Moët Imperial. Once all options are selected, the experience can start in earnest thanks to the image tracking technology of our chosen AR platform.

The magic of Moet comes to life.
Sparkling gold or pink flecks swirl around the gift box to reveal an augmented reality 3D silhouette of the iconic Moet & Chandon bottle as well as the user selected message and emoji; creating a fun, dazzling experience users won’t soon forget.

This experience was created with 8th Wall, a platform which enables in-browser augmented reality, negating the need for any separate app or software downloads.

What good is a celebration that can’t be shared?
Users are also given the option to download recordings of the experience which they can then share on social media as a video or a still image; making that special Moet moment last even longer.
