The Young Pope -AiMEN
Trolling the internet as a pontifical AI
- AI
How would a Pope preach Godâs word in the XXIst century? What if that Pope was a modern, different kind of Pope?
The team at BETC Paris had an [un]holy idea to develop his holiness as an artificial intelligence that could spread Godâs word to the people over the internet and social networks.
Their ambition was to monitor 1 million online comments and respond to ask many as possible in a real-time and contextual way.
AI & Machine Learning
makemepulse used IBM Watsonâs natural language classifier, combined with machine-learning algorithms and a sentiment analyser, to understand the emotional context of what users were posting on social media platorms Facebook, Twitter, YouTube.
Then, drawing from a database of 39,000 bible verses, responded to them with the most relevant thing to say.
In just two weeks: AiMEN analysed almost 4.5 million messages, 10GB of text data, answered 1 million users pulling responses from a database of 39,000 bible verses and exposed 2.6 million people to the robot Pope.
Average analysis time of a message was under 2 seconds.
