Looking Golden! Celebrating a Season of Award Wins for Girls Who Code Girls
As the team arrive back from a week on the Croisette, we’re looking back on a season of award wins for our work with the team at Girls Who Code, in collaboration with Mojo Supermarket.
We care deeply about the future of gaming, so it’s been a joy to see the buzz build around this purposeful, mission led coding experience at awards shows this year. This unique coding experience looks to inspire young girls, to get them excited about coding and futures in tech. Focussed on representation, users are invited to code their very own character and fight for inclusive representation in gaming.
Starting with the One Show, the project took home two Gold Pencils. The experience was highlighted for craft and use of technology in the Experiential and Immersive group, along with excellence in mobile and online gaming within the Interactive category.
D&AD saw the project pick up two Wood Pencils for user participation in Digital, and as a standout virtual activation in Experiential.
Finally at the coveted Cannes Lions, Girls Who Code Girls triumphed with a Bronze in Creative Data, a true celebration of data storytelling.
It’s been a delight to partner on this educational and empowering effort from Girls Who Code, and we couldn’t be prouder to see the project recognised across the industry. The accolades not only honour the work but also serve as inspiration for us all, highlighting the importance of creativity, continued innovation and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.
Congratulations to everyone involved and all award winners from 2023 so far. Want to learn more about our Girls Who Code collaboration? Head over to the experience case study now.
