McDonald’s launches frosty mobile adventure on McDo+
McDonald’s France is taking mobile engagement further with ‘Course Givrée’, a fast-paced snowmobile mini-game built for the McDo+ app.
Imagined by Razorfish and designed and developed by makemeplay, the gaming division of makemepulse, the experience drops players into the snowy slopes of McDonaldland, the brand’s iconic universe, with Grimace at the wheel.
The objective is simple: collect as many blueberries as possible to rack up points and unlock the spectacular ‘Mega Jump’ bonus phase. Along the way, players dodge icy obstacles, slippery caramel streams and unexpected hazards in a game designed for speed, reflex and replayability.
Beyond the gameplay, weekly performance translates into real-world rewards, exclusive to the McDo+ app turning play into tangible value.
For makemeplay, the project continues the divisions focus on delivering branded gaming experiences that blend craft, mechanics and brand storytelling.
Our goal was to turn McDonaldland into something you don’t just see, you play. Course Givrée is built to be fast, fun and rewarding, while staying true to the spirit of the brand.
