How do you take Frankie & Bobby, DIRECT TV’s anxious pigeons from TVC to digital touchpoints? You partner up with makemepulse.

To support the new TVC from TBWA/CHIAT/DAY we were invited to create a series of digital moments to bring the humor and fun of the TV campaign to their brand.com, DOOH and other digital touch points.

If they are all as fun as Frankie & Bobby, sign us up!

To support the wider brand campaign and TVC, We created a series of digital moments including a mini-game, multiple animation loops to make you believe the pigeons were interacting with you whilst you scroll and a 3D Digital Out of Home (DOOH) experience.

Our collaboration with TBWA Chiat/Day started by recreating the characters from scratch to mimic the TVC. We delivered a series of fun loops to be embedded in their main brand .com including one where the birds peck at and one where they fly at your screen (no animals were harmed in the making of this ad).

To add a little fun we also created a ‘flappy bird’ inspired mini-game with a simple interaction and progression levels for users to keep the pigeons in-flight.

Stretching our wings beyond personal devices, our final mission was to bring Frankie and Bobby to the big screen. Giving them their debut in a fun 3D billboard rolled out across key US cities including New York.
